More reasons weekends are better

As if all that unbridled play and humping and general dog-piling with dogs my own size half my size weren't enough, I also got to spend some time this weekend with one of my favorite little buddies, Bowie the Maltese. Bowie prefers I play gently with him, because otherwise he gets caught underpaw and then he makes a lot of squeaky noises sort of like my plushy toys at home.

First, Bowie got my Achilles heel and took me down.

Ouch, Bowie! Quit throwing your weight around ... all 7 pounds of it!

"MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! I have conquered The Big One! I plant my paw on his ear to show my superiority!"

"ummm. Biggie, now can you please stop mugging for the camera? Try to look seriously dominated by me, ok?"

"Fine. If you're going to ignore me, then I will just have to push you around like a tugboat."

"Hmmm. Doesn't seem to be working..."

I had a great time with Bowie. We tried out some Howl-o-ween costumes too. I am considering being a dalmatian, while Bowie seems to be considering a disguise as a shih-tzu. It's amazing what a little slobber and dust can do!

OMG what cute pictures, you two are having lots of fun. Can we use the third pic down for our caption game?

Thanks

Yuh, I do that too. I play bitey face lying down so the pee-wee thinks he is totally dominating me. You look like great pals.

PeterPan: Oooh - you look like you'd be great fun to play with! And since I now weigh 12 pounds and am MUCH larger than your friend, I think that tug-boating would actually work with me.

Vic: Please, take him; he clearly needs friends to play with because this morning he was running around the living room like a possessed beast and vaulting off the couch and generally harrassing me.

Bowie looks like he is little only on the outside. Adorable pictures!!!

Mango,
I know, it is sort of annoying that to play with the pee wees we have to lie down to play bitey face. On the other hand, I get some rest out of it too.

PeterPan,
Bring it on.

Vic,
You are "biggie" enough to really wrestle. I could even let you and pp gang up on me if you want.

Jan,
Bowie has no fear with the big dogs and he does not hesitate to tell us how he really feels! He gets right underpaw and nips at our feet while we're playing and then if I trip over him by accident, boy, he lets me have it! And then I have to lie down and let him climb the Biggie mountain.

Haha! I love those pictures. That is so cute. In the first pic, it took me a second to figure out where one dog started and the other began. They kind of blend together. It's like Bowie is a Mini Me! Ha.

Bowie is completely unconvinced that he is a small fry. He loves his Biggie friend... thanks for playing!!! ~ Bowie's mom

Why is it always the small dogs that crawl all over the larger ones? I'm not you're size but, as soon as a smaller dog spots me, they run over and try to dominate me and of course I'm all like, "shoo" but they just don't leave me alone!

Being on your back Biggie has nothing to do with being less dominant, it just saves straining your neck, I appreciate that. I dunno where those little guys get their energy from??? I'm glad your having a great time!! Snuffs George

Hee hee, you two look great together! One of my first girlfriends was a Maltese, so they are close to my heart. (Although I did see a very cool dog hoodie the other day that was imprinted with "Rage Against The Maltese!")

Your pal,
